Current Events: Sorrow in California

On Friday, 23rd of May, 22 year old Elliot Rodger went on a killing rampage near the University of California, Santa Barbara in Isla Vista. In his wake, 7 are left dead, 3 men from his apartment, 3 UCSB students outside a sorority and himself by a self-inflicted gunshot. 13 more remain injured.

Not surprisingly, this has raised the debate on gun control once again and while we dream and strive for an ideal world with no weapons, our main concern is with the damaged human heart, broken and hurt by the experiences of this fallen world.

We offer our most heartfelt condolences, love and prayers to Isla Vista community and the victims families', recovering from this unspeakable tragedy.
